Why Investor Holdings was formed
The platform brings real asset development experience together with institutional finance discipline. Its formation responds to demand for credible resort, mixed-use and infrastructure capital, fragmented capital access and the need for experienced project screening.
A defined role in the capital process
LandMarkers Investor Holdings operates as a capital sponsor and structured finance counterparty, rather than a brokerage intermediary. Governance-led evaluation, senior oversight and controlled access to vetted counterparties are central to its approach.
A lineage in development and finance
The lineage begins with the formation of LEXES Enterprises / LEXES Capital in 1995 by Broughton and Kazanjian. Carl G. Berry joined LEXES in 1996. Berry and Kazanjian formed Resort Development & Advisors in 1997, followed by the founding of The World’s Finest Resorts in 2000 by Berry, Kazanjian and Bragg.
From resort development to Investor Holdings
The lineage includes the 2005 administrative and headquarters transition into Star Resort Group and the acquisition of The World’s Finest Resorts by RCI / Cendant in March 2006. John R. Kazanjian formed LandMarkers Development Group in 2013. LandMarkers Investor Holdings launched in 2026.

The platform’s deployment objectives are selective engagement with qualified large-scale developments, institutional counterparty relationships and measured phases of capital deployment. Governance oversight and long-duration alignment remain central to that progression.
