Construction, development and operational leadership
Kenneth R. Vasile, Director and President of Vasile Construction Corporation, serves as Managing Director of Construction for LandMarkers Development Group. Kenny brings more than 40 years of diverse experience in real estate ownership, development, general contracting, building construction and operational management to the LandMarkers Group consortium.
Since 1979, Kenneth has served as President of Vasile Construction Corporation in Rochester, New York, where he is responsible for organizational structure, annual corporate budgets, public relations, employee relations and design/build lease development.
His development work encompasses approvals, architecture and engineering, pro formas, land and tenant negotiations, financing, and strategy through project performance.
In commercial office development, his experience exceeds 500,000 square feet. His most recent project comprised 78,000 square feet of independent office pods with a total developed cost of $14 million.
His industrial warehouse experience exceeds 300,000 square feet, including a recent 54,000-square-foot project costing $5.1 million. His retail experience exceeds one million square feet, including a 400,000-square-foot renovation completed over three years at a total cost of $8 million.
His construction management responsibilities include critical path analysis, purchasing and delivery, financing and payments. His largest project was the Niagara Falls Wintergarten Hotel, including the Waterplay play park and retail, a three-year project with a total cost of $38 million.
Kenneth has completed more than $175 million in general contracting projects, including hospital renovations, car dealerships, food markets, bank buildings, churches, industrial facilities, nursing homes and assisted living projects in Florida, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and New York.
From 1971 to 1978, Kenneth worked with S. P. Vasile & Son, Inc. as a project estimator, purchasing agent, coordinator and project manager. He also served as Project Superintendent for Sodus Nursing Home and Assistant Project Superintendent for Woodside Nursing Home, both in Rochester, New York.
Kenneth earned a B.B.A. in Accounting from Niagara University in Niagara Falls, New York, in 1971.
