As CEO and Managing Director of Skydoc® Systems, Inc., Charles Steffen has been instrumental in finding communication, internet and security solutions for government and private corporate needs. His clients span many countries, with diverse requirements calling for specific applications.

Charles brings more than 40 years of business experience in marketing management, budgeting, sales development and sales training. His work spans transportation, communications, marketing, logistics, security, surveillance and resort industries. A 15-year veteran of aerostat and blimp systems, Charlie is a leading aerostat manufacturing systems vendor.

His experience in information sourcing and knowledge of the options available for a particular project help clients identify relevant solutions, whether enhancing existing systems or providing energy to remote areas without utility connections.

Many of Charlie’s past projects have been high profile and required stringent security. He draws on a range of options and methods to address transportation, communications and security needs across different countries and applications.

Charlie spent eight years in missile design and testing for the U.S. government on highly classified projects, experience that informed his approach to effective system design.

Successful projects and repeat business have been central to his career across these fields. He served more than 10 years in the U.S. Navy, including service during the Vietnam conflict and in the submarine service.

These experiences taught him that perseverance and discipline are paramount to completing complex projects across varied applications.
